Are You Yielded to The Holy Spirit?

When something hard in life happens, maybe a unproductive thought, a sense of stress, anger whom do you call on to help? Do you call on God, do you are dependent on Him and his promise that the Holy Spirit lives in you? Maybe you attempt to handle it yourself, or maybe you ignore it or you do your best to get thru the situation.

You need to not yield to the Lord God or else you will stay in the same place if you attempt to utilize your own strength, your own mind, your own power. As an alternative you can select to depend on Him, the One who has got all that you need. It's your choice, God’s strength or your weakness. Deciding to rely on your own strength will lead on to more stress, more anger, more dejectedness, or more fear.

Counting on the power of The Trinity, God the Father, God the Boy and God the Lord God who live in you will lead to joy, confidence and laughter. The Lord God Almighty is your power source and steerage. It is Jesus living in you. Why would you not trust Him?

Calling on the Holy Spirit and yielding to Him for His infilling is not difficult or difficult. You received the Holy Spirit at the time you asked Jesus into your life. He is always with you and His guidance and power is always available. The difficulty comes when we take back control over our lives and start to live it in our own power. When that occurs, we are not crammed with the Spirit to the degree that we insist strongly upon control.

Is there anything preventing you from yielding total control of each area of your life to the Holy Spirit right now? If it is sin, you can confess that and He will forgive you. If it's fear or doubt or any other barrier, you can be awfully truthful with Almighty God and let Him know that and ask the Holy Spirit to help overcome anything that keeps you from yielding everything to Him, including your doubt or unbelief. He is going to be faithful to do that.
